Who we are

Our company was founded during the 2022 Vinuri De Silva Biodesign Competition (Melbourne Bioinnovation Student Initiative), for which our team won Graeme Clark Institute prize. Our design is a novel active compression device that with significantly greater comfort and convenience. Our concept uses a revolutionary new approach using electroactive polymer is now at a proof-of-concept (TRL3) stage.

Our diverse team includes a founder with lived experience, and driven by highly motivated innovators in broad field of medicine, biomedical sciences, mechanical and electrical engineering.

Ravindu is a mechatronics engineer working across R&D and Systems Engineering. At Melbourne Bionics he focuses on research, prototyping, and product development.

Anantyash is electrical engineer with experience in FPGA development and medical devices. At Melbourne Bionics, he develops and verifies electronics for therapeutic compression garments.
